Benefits of Event-based Neuromorphic Sensing

This video demonstrates the benefits of event-based vision sensors, such as neuromorphic cameras, for real-world tasks. In the above video, the total data produced from a SpaceX rocket recording is compared to the change-based events simulated from the original recording. This is done at a small cropped resolution, and at the full original resolution. Features hard to notice on the original footage are clearly visible in the change-based simulation.

The original SpaceX Grasshopper Test video can be found here.
